Анализ первого опыта и демонстрация результатов баллон-ассистированной ретроградной трансвенозной облитерации у пациентов с циррозом печени и варикозной трансформацией вен желудка.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Баллон-ассистированная ретроградная трансвенозная облитерация выполнена 6 пациентам с циррозом печени и варикозными венами желудка для вторичной профилактики кровотечения в период с ноября 2023 по август 2024 г. Все пациенты – мужчины, средний возраст – 56,5 года. Техническим показанием к процедуре считали значимый гастроренальный шунт и преимущественно правосторонний тип дренирования гастроэзофагеальных варикозных вен.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Осложнений, потребовавших повторного хирургического вмешательства, и летальных исходов не было. В отдаленном периоде рецидивов кровотечения не отмечено. Общая выживаемость в течение 6 мес составила 100%. В 2 из 6 наблюдений выявлено прогрессирование варикозного расширения вен желудка: одному пациенту процедуру повторили, другому больному выполнена трансплантация печени.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Баллон-ассистированная ретроградная трансвенозная облитерация – безопасный и эффективный рентгенхирургический метод устранения осложнений портальной гипертензии. Он имеет ряд ограничений и нежелательных последствий, за развитием которых необходим тщательный контроль при динамическом наблюдении.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To analyze first experiences and demonstrate the results of balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration in patients with liver cirrhosis and variceal transformation of the gastric veins.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. In the period from November 2023 to August 2024, balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration was performed on six male patients with liver cirrhosis and gastric varices for secondary prevention of bleeding. The mean age of the patients comprised 56.5 years. Significant gastrorenal shunt and predominantly right-sided drainage of gastroesophageal varices were considered technical indications for the procedure.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. No fatalities or complications necessitating reoperation were reported. The follow-up period revealed no recurrences of bleeding. The overall survival rate over six months comprised 100%. Progression of gastric varices was noted in two out of six patients: one patient underwent a repeat procedure, while the other underwent liver transplantation.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. Balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration is recognized as a safe and effective radiological intervention for addressing complications associated with portal hypertension.
