SCHWANNOMA OF UNCINATE PROCESS OF PANCREAS

Abstract

Aim. To present case report of effective surgical treatment of rare tumor of pancreatic uncinate process. Conclusion. It is presented clinical observation of pancreatic schwannoma in 40 years old patient. Urgent histopathological examination during surgery makes it possible to carry out organ-sparing operation (uncus-preserving tumor enucleation). Data of tumor's pathogenesis and literature review are presented.
